Workplace Culture in Nursing
Workplace culture in nursing is deeply influenced by the use of power, a dynamic that shapes team interactions, patient care, and leadership effectiveness. As a nurse manager, I have witnessed firsthand both the positive and negative uses of power in the nursing profession, where the ability to lead with integrity, collaboration, and support can transform the workplace culture. Through personal experiences and evidence-based practices, this paper explores various forms of power in nursing, how they impact workplace cultures, and the ethical responsibilities nurse leaders must use their power in love and service to others.
